'66 BREAKOUT! - A Shot Of 60's High Energy

 

  The mummies have gone back to their eternal rest.

  But the records are still spinning.

  After all those archaeological expeditions through Back From The Dead, it was only a matter of time before some of the treasures unearthed beneath tons of sand demanded a series of their own. That's how '66 BREAKOUT! was born, a new journey devoted to the most explosive recordings of the sixties, with no tombs, curses or sarcophagi required.

  The mission is simple: one solid hour of pure electricity. Garage punk, freakbeat, psychedelia, fuzz, proto-hard rock and every band that pushed sixties rock to its wildest extremes.

  This opening volume travels through the United States, Canada, Britain, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Iceland and Colombia, bringing together essential names such as Thor's Hammer, The Zakary Thaks, The Other Half, The Attack, The Guess Who and The Motions, alongside a long list of groups that left behind little more than one or two singles before disappearing.

  Twenty-two tracks where guitars roar, amplifiers crackle and the energy threatens to burst out of every groove.

  Because long before punk exploded in 1977...

another generation was already making enough noise to change the course of rock 'n' roll.

  ¡Hola, niños y niñas!

  Hoy vamos a viajar al maravilloso mundo de las sintonías de dibujos animados. Desde el trabajo pionero de Eddie Cantor y Raymond Scott para Warner Bros. hasta las inolvidables composiciones de Hoyt Curtin para Hanna-Barbera, la música de los dibujos nos ha dejado un sinfín de pequeñas obras maestras. La mayoría apenas duran lo que un anuncio de televisión, pero llevan toda una vida acompañándonos. Algunas son conocidas en todo el mundo; otras pertenecen a series que casi nadie recuerda... pero todas tienen algo especial.

  Esta es, probablemente, una de las sesiones más divertidas, variadas y nostálgicas que he preparado.

  Y sí...

¡también hay mucho rock'n'roll!

  Espero que la disfrutéis, que os echéis unas cuantas risas...

y que, de paso, os entren un poco de nostalgia.
